Welsh digital content creators, editors, publishers and distributors of educational products are being invited to attend an event aimed at helping them meet prospective distribution partners in Spain.
‘The Role of Digital in Education,’ hosted by UK Trade & Investment Barcelona, will take place on the 21st March 2013 in the British Consulate office and will provide Welsh and UK companies the chance to meet Spanish businesses interested in distributing their content and products.
The trade opportunity, identified by the UKTI team based in Barcelona, is a result of Spanish firms looking to develop their competitiveness as a response to changing consumer demand.
“This event will be a unique opportunity for Welsh companies to forge new collaborations with Catalan publishers and distributors who are very keen to expand their content portfolio,” says Sarah Roles-Ndibe, senior trade and investment advisor at UKTI Barcelona.
With a focus on expanding exports, Welsh and Spanish firms can develop partnerships and tap into new markets.
Sarah Roles-Ndibe continues, “Wales has an inimitable relationship with Catalunya, built on an independence of spirit, language and vision. Welsh companies should not miss this chance to explore the opportunities in the digital content sector at this UKTI event, which is supported by the Regional Government of Catalunya.”
Businesses attending the event will be invited to give a brief presentation about their company and services, with follow up one-to-one meetings with interested parties.
